تعيين ليزا أثرتون في منصب الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لدى ’بيل‘

أعلنت اليوم ’تكسترون إنكورپوريشن‘ (Textron Inc.) المدرَجة في بورصة نيويورك تحت الرمز NYSE: TXT، عن تعيين ليزا أثرتون في منصب الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لشركة ’بيل‘ (Bell)، وذلك بدءًا من 28 أبريل 2023. وتحلّ أثرتون، التي شغلت مؤخراً منصب المدير التنفيذي للعمليات في ’بيل‘، مكان ميتش سنايدر الذي سيتقاعد بعد أكثر من سبع سنوات على تولّيه منصب الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لدى ’بيل‘ وحوالي 20 عاما من العمل في الشركة.
شغلت أثرتون سابقاً منصب الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لدى ’تكسترون سيستمز‘ (Textron Systems) وذلك من العام 2017 حتى يناير 2023 عندما تم اختيارها لمنصب المدير التنفيذي للعمليات في ’بيل‘. وكانت قد انضمّت إلى ’تكسترون ديفنس سيستمز‘ (Textron Defense Systems) في 2007، وانتقلت في 2013 إلى ’بيل‘ وتولّت العديد من المناصب القيادية ضمن البرامج العسكرية، بما فيها منصب نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للأعمال العسكرية. وهي خرّيجة ’أكاديمية سلاح الجو الأمريكي‘ (U.S. Air Force Academy) وخدمت لمدّة ثمانية أعوام في دائرة المستلزمات لدى قيادة القتال الجوّي في ’سلاح الجو الأمريكي‘.
تعليقاً على هذا، قال سكوت سي. دونللي، الرئيس والمدير التنفيذي لدى ’تكسترون‘: “قامت ليزا بعمل مبهر في بناء فِرَق قوية لدى كل من ’بيل‘ و’تكسترون سيستمز‘ خلال السنوات الـ16 من العمل في الشركة، كما تميّزت بكسبها لثقة العملاء. وتحت قيادتها، ستتابع ’بيل‘ تنفيذ مهامها القوية ضمن البرامج العسكرية والتجارية على حد سواء، وأنا واثق أنها ستوفر الرؤية الاستراتيجية لتحقيق النمو المستقبلي لشركة ’بيل‘.”

LISA ATHERTON NAMED PRESIDENT AND CEO OF BELL
telescopejo– Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) today announced that Lisa Atherton has been named president & CEO of the Bell segment, effective April 28, 2023. Atherton, most recently the chief operating officer of Bell, succeeds Mitch Snyder, who will be retiring after more than seven years as president & CEO of Bell and nearly 20 years with the company.
Atherton served as president & CEO of Textron Systems from 2017 until January 2023 when she was named COO at Bell. She joined Textron Defense Systems in 2007 and, in 2013, she transitioned to Bell and held a number of leadership positions within Military Programs, including executive vice president, Military Business. A graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, she served eight years at the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command’s Directorate of Requirements.
Commenting on the transition, Scott C. Donnelly, Textron chairman & CEO, said, “Lisa has done an outstanding job of building strong teams at Bell and Textron Systems in her 16 years with the company and has earned the confidence of our customers. Under her leadership, Bell will continue its strong execution across military and commercial programs and I am confident that she will provide the strategic vision to generate future growth for Bell.
